Digitisation of village life: joint village website and village radio

07.05.2024: The digitization of the village of Rumbeck is being overseen by Nadja Schürmann. She is the digitization sponsor on behalf of the LEADER project "Dorf.Connect" and will help us create a community village website. The editors below are looking forward to this help.

April 18, 2024: The core group of editors led by Dr. Wilhelm Stewen has developed the basic framework for the website. The analog data is now being brought into the form of a future website by a digital coach.

March 11, 2024: Some contributions will be checked for trustworthiness in advance by the editors. These are: Ulf Krähling, Stephan Kersch and Wolfram Blanke. In addition, there will be a contact person in each club in the village as an employee or author.

07.02.2024: An essential element of digitalization is the Mobile app Dorffunk. the app can be downloaded for android or ios with the Keyword dorf.app This app already works in Rumbeck. Here you can read how every citizen can use this app. There, every registered user can post messages, start a broadcast or advertise events and sales. New citizens will find valuable information here.

11.10.2023: The digitization of the village of Rumbeck is progressing. A mobile phone app called "Dorffunk" and a joint website for all clubs in the village of Rumbeck are to be created. The development is being largely supported by funds from the LEADER project "DorfConnect: the digital village network". The Förderverein Dorf und Kloster Rumbeck eV will coordinate the necessary activities for the Vereinring Rumbeck. It is available as a contact for the institutions in the village as well as LEADER and the Sparkassenstiftung. It is basically about networking in your own neighborhood, presenting the village history, publicizing news and events, and promoting active cooperation. These are essential components of village life. In recent years, digital means of communication have become increasingly important and offer a wide range of opportunities to strengthen our communities.
