The association pursues the goal of supporting the village and monastery of Rumbeck in an idealistic and material way on a non-profit basis, as well as making the historical origins known to the public and preserving or restoring them as far as possible, among other things by:

- Care and preservation of the cultural and historical sites of the village and monastery of Rumbeck and cooperation with the two other Premonstratensian monasteries in Arnsberg
- Art, culture and monument preservation
- Promotion of various events such as concerts, lectures, exhibitions, readings etc. and other suitable measures which serve, among other things, to strengthen the joint public image of the village and Rumbeck Monastery.
- Preservation of traditions
- Heritage and landscape conservation

The purpose of the statutes is achieved, among other things, by:
- Promote the association's goals in public
- Cooperation with public and private institutions
- Raising funds
- Grants from public and private bodies
- voluntary community engagement.
